We let the facts do the talking.

PR newbies, don’t cry

You’re new, you’re fresh and you’re all ready to cry already? That can’t be good. Yes, PR may seem scary at first (especially since we still haven’t decided on one definition for it yet), but don’t despair. Some great tips from the seniours might do you some good.

Get going
Don’t sit around waiting for someone to teach you or things to happen, because I assure you that that’s the one thing that will bring about your downfall. PR is about being active and proactive for yourself, your company and most importantly, your client.

Socially savvy
Sorry, but you’re going to have to get at least one social media account. Some of the dinosaurs are still trying to fight digital, but no matter what they do, this is a battle that will be lost. If you’re not using social media for your client, somebody else will.

Got lots of questions?
Be annoying and ask. Ask about this, ask about that; just ask. There’s nothing wrong with it and think of it this way: if you don’t ask that question, how will you find out the answer? If you feel you are becoming a bit annoying, try reading blogs like this one for information as well (wink, wink).

I’d give you more, but I can’t be giving away all my secrets now, can I?
